COVID-19

Our Commitment to Keeping Patients and Employees Safe:

The health and safety of our patients is extremely important to us. Prairie Podiatry is continuing to follow the guidelines of the CDC and other health authorities to provide the safest environment for all. We are observing the following procedures to ensure a safe experience for our patients and employees:

  • If you have any symptoms of respiratory infection, such as fever, cough, or shortness of breath, please call your primary doctor before coming into our offices for any reason, and DO NOT come into our clinic with active COVID until your quarantine time has passed.

  • Per CDC, when levels are not high, healthcare facilities can choose not to require masks. However, it is recommended for individuals in healthcare settings who have suspected or confirmed COVID infection or other respiratory infection (e.g., those with runny nose, cough, sneeze, etc.); or had close contact with someone with COVID for 10 days after their exposures; or have otherwise had source control recommended by public health authorities.

  • In Illinois currently, if community transmission is not high, masks are no longer required by patients, caregivers, and other visitors.

  • Sanitation is a top priority, and we have re-emphasized the importance of keeping our facility clean.

  • Vendors and non-essential individuals need an appointment.

We are privileged to serve you, and we thank you for your patience while we continue to provide the highest level of quality care possible. Please reach out to us at 217-698-6228 with any questions you have regarding your foot care concerns. We are here for you!
